Research Collaboration between Universitas Tanjungpura and Uniwersytet Szczecinski (Poland) – GHaNA Project

Ikha Safitri from Marine Science Department, FMIPA, Universitas Tanjungpura was hosted by laboratory of Palaeoceanology, Prof. Andrzej Witkowski and Dr. Romain Gastineau – Uniwersytet Szczecinski – Poland (11/05/2019 – 15/06/2019) to perform her 4th secondment of the GHaNA project.

The experiments were about morphology based identification of diatoms in light microscopy and electron microscopy; introduction in extraction of total DNA and polymerizing chain reaction for molecular barcoding; and single and multigene phylogeny.
